Diffuse, slender-branched perennial, to about 1 ft., basally pilose.

Basal leaves long-petioled, spatulate to obovate, upper leaves sessile, lanceolate to linear, to about 2 in. long.

Flowers erect, solitary on elongate pedicels, calyx without appendages, lobes linear-lanceolate, half or more as long as the corolla, usually dentate basally, corolla pale blue to whitish, to 1 in. long, broadly campanulate to funnelform.
