Habitus

Freely branching, glabrous perennial, 1-3 ft.

Leaves

Leaves ovate-lanceolate to narrow-lanceolate, 1-6 in. long, sharply toothed.

Flowers

Flowers nodding, in many flowered slender-branched panicles, corolla pale blue, to ½ in. long, style exserted.

Fruit

Seed available, in small quantity. Species actually grown or used for breeding 2)
