Greyish-pubescent, short-lived perennial with rosette of leaves, stems radiating, decumbent, to about 8 in. long.

Leaves petioled, ovate to spatulate or orbicular, to ½ in. long, dentate.

Flowers many, erect, solitary, in axils, calyx with acute appendages, corolla blue or white, campanulate-rotate, to 1 in. across, tomentose outside.

Flower measuring (width or lenght) under 15mm (5/8 in.)¹⁾
