Levende planten van de verzameling in 1959 en 1963 in Dagestan. Hij groeit van april tot augustus. Hoogte 20 cm. Decoratief.⁴⁾

Perennial. Soddy plant, with branched roots at the base of a scaly remnants of petioles; weak stems, flowered, fairly low, 10 - 12 (15) cm tall. ⁵⁾

Leaves almost bare or sparsely pubescent, basal dlinnochereshkovye, small, yaytsevidnookruglye, crenate-dentate, stem leaves similar to basal shape, but smaller, short and much less jagged. ⁶⁾

Bloeit van eind mei in de loop van 20 dagen. Zaden in juli.⁷⁾

Fowered, fairly low, 10 - 12 (15) cm tall. The teeth naked or nearly naked calyx oblong, obtuse, 4 - 5 times shorter than campanulate corolla purple; appendages lanceolate, obtuse or acute, exceeding the length of the calyx tube; hairy receptacle; box almost round; leaf brown, without border.⁸⁾

It grows in the cracks of rocks in the middle and alpine zones, in the gorges of the Caucasus. Endemic.¹⁰⁾
