Habitus
Tufted, glabrate, grasslike perennial, 3-4 in.
Perennial herb with a thick, leafy, many-headed rhizome. The above-ground portion of naked or almost completely devoid of hairs. Stems 10-20 cm tall, thin, flowered. Grounds stems densely covered with remnants of petioles of dead leaves. Flowering in May and June.
In the classical morphology of this type is considered closer to Campanula ardonensis, with whom he is compared.1)
Leaves
Lower leaves linear, to 2 in. long, upper leaves filiform.

Flowers solitary on stems, scarcely exceeding lower leaves, corolla deep bluwe, ½-3/4 in. long, narrowly campanulate.
Flowering in May and June. Flowers with dark blue rim uzkokolokolchatym 1.5-2 cm long, about half is divided into blades. Calyx with narrowly linear, pointed, almost subulate teeth. The bar does not extend beyond the corolla. 3)
Fruit
Fruit - hemispherical-conical oblong box with a pale-brown seeds. Propagated bell Ardon seeds and vegetatively. 4)

Living
Narrow local endemic of the river basin. Ardov in the eastern part of the Central Caucasus. Obligate Petrof, it grows on rocks, argillaceous and crystalline schists, limestones, sandstones and granites, especially the eastern (south-east) and western (south-west) exposures located in the lower part of the forest and subalpine zones at an altitude of 800 to 2900 m above sea level.
