Tufted perennial, to 6 in., differing from Campanula tridentate in its generally greather pubescence and green rather than grayish-green leaves, usually with only 3 or 5 serrations near the apex.

Low plant, up to 10 cm, with numerous valuable shortened vegetative and flowering slightly elongated leafy shoots. Basal leaves linear or linear-lanceolate, wedge tapering to the petiole. The flowers are large, violet-blue, a little rejected. It blooms from mid-May to June. 4)
