Habitus

Perennial, stems clustered, erect, to 2 ½ ft., glabrous or sparsely hairy.

Leaves

Leaves sessile or nearly so, ovate to elliptic, to about 2 in. long, deeply but remotely serrate.

Flowers

Flowers few, in interrupted spikes, racemes, or narrow panicles, corolla pale blue, about ½ in. long, funnelform with linear-lanceolate lobes, style curved, much longer than corolla.
